Meet The Founder
Amin Shirvani, DDS
Dr. Shirvani began his career as a general dentist after earning his DDS degree in 2003. During his dental studies, he was actively involved in a range of volunteer programs, including IT training, academic writing, and student skills development. In 2002, he was recognized with the prestigious Outstanding Student of the University award.
After graduating from Isfahan University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) in Iran, Dr. Shirvani obtained a diploma in legal dentistry and began practicing as a general dentist. He also served as an official consultant to the medical regulatory body. Following two years of clinical practice, he returned to academia and completed a four-year postgraduate program in orthodontics.
His advanced training focused on the application of mathematics and computer science in aesthetic dentistry and facial harmony. Dr. Shirvani has published multiple articles on the geometry of facial harmony, computerized prediction in orthodontics, and aesthetic jaw surgery. He also has over six years of experience in academic teaching within dentistry and currently serves as an Adjunct Faculty member in Clear Aligner Therapy at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences.
Dr. Shirvani is actively involved in training other dentists in clear aligner therapy. He runs the Mastering Aligner Therapy educational program in Ontario and British Columbia and regularly lectures on aligner-related topics at the Pacific Dental Conference and other scientific dental meetings across Canada. He is also the founder of ClearAssist, an orthodontic consultation service that supports general dentists across Canada in clear aligner treatment planning.
In 2013, Dr. Shirvani relocated to Canada. After becoming a certified general dentist, he began practicing orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and family dentistry in Vancouver. Since moving to Canada, he has pursued extensive continuing education in aesthetic and advanced dental care, including Invisalign®, Smile Design, Botox® injections, and Laser Dentistry.
In his free time, Dr. Shirvani enjoys spending time with friends and family, going on road trips, and playing basketball.
